We had a successful recovery for a digital voice recorder. The first one we had ever worked on. It was quite an interesting challenge, but well worth the effort when we saw the mp3. files being recovered.
I have a Philips Voice Tracer 662 Mp4 digital voice recorder. Am using it to do conversations for a book. Out of blue, unit will not turn on. I must retrieve conversations from the malfunctioning unit. It is not a battery issue. Philips wants me to send it to Vienna Austria! Is there not a way to have it done in the US? Please let me know. I have a MacBookPro and MacSpeech Scribe to download the files into my computer when unit is working, that is. Thanks
